NEWS FLASH!!!

2006-07 Race Series Information

We will be trying a new race format this year to allow every racer to have equal track time and an equal chance to win.  All entrants will run a two minute qualifying heat race and then a 3 or 4 minute main (depending on the number of entries). Highest main lap total wins (from any main).  We welcome every racer of every skill level, members and non-members.  Everyone is a “Winner” on the Michigan HOPRA Series.  We will be running the 2006 HOPRA National Rules.  Drivers will have two classes at each race to compete in with finishing points totaled towards the State Championship. Race prizes will be awarded to all competitors at each event and trophies awarded at end of season.  Three separate Drivers Division Championships will be contested this season. Novice: for our young beginning racers 16 and under, Amateur: for new and beginning racers 17 and older with less than three full seasons of racing experience and Pro: racers who have over three full seasons of racing in the series. SEE YOU AT THE TRACKS!
