 2008 Nationals Race Bids

      Lucky Bobs Raceway, Milwaukee, WI

      FSMRA Raceway, Okonowamac, WI

After discussion, motion made to award race to Lucky Bob’s

Vote: Unanimous

 

 New Jersey request for Executive Committee Seat.

      Harvey Goodwin presented written request for a seat on the committee per rulebook.

      After discussion, motion made to honor request

Vote: Unanimous

 

Availability/Legality/Submission of Parts (Cars/Chassis/Magnets only)

After much discussion, motion was made, that all magnets/chassis/cars must be readily available by January 1st to be legal for that years National Championships

Vote: Unanimous

Paul Reeve will submit a proposal before August 1st for the language pertaining to submission/purchase process for the “standard” set for HOPRA

 

Allow ball bearings in Polymer Modified

      After discussion, motion made to allow ball bearings in Poly Mod class

Vote: Unanimous

 

Allow ball bearings in Modified Class

      After discussion, motion made to allow ball bearings in Modified class

Vote: 11 Yes / 1 No

 

Member not in Good Standing request

A request was made by several committee members to revoke Bob Lincoln’s “member in good standing” status. After much discussion, a motion was made to revoke Mr. Lincoln’s membership status.

Vote: Unanimous

 

Nominations for 2007-08 National Director

      Paul Reeve was the only nominated committee member

Vote: Unanimous
